Melton Valley Golf Club has various membership options available should you wish to join. Membership categories include the following:

Dinning

The Bistro is open for Lunch on Tuesday to Saturday and for Dinner on Friday Only.

Pro Shop Discount

We are able to supply all the major brands at competitive prices.

Academy Lessons

We offer training for new golfers on our golf course.

Membership

Membership can be paid up front on joining, or within the first six months in two payments (as allocated by MVCG) or via Pay As You Golf monthly instalment plan (note: fees will apply for this).

Guidelines

These are our regulations.

Dress Code
  • Neat and clean casual attire must be worn at all times on the golf course and in the Clubhouse.
  • Sports socks, predominantly white or walking socks must be worn with shorts.
  • Sandals or thongs may be worn in the Clubhouse.
  • Gentlemen are required to wear shirts with a collar.
  • Golf shoes or joggers can be worn on the golf course.
  • Shoes worn on the course must not be worn in the Clubhouse.
  • Hats and caps may not be worn in the Clubhouse.

Unacceptable dress includes:

  • T-shirts
  • Halter neck tops
  • Singlets
  • Sleeveless shirts
  • Football or sports shorts
  • Work boots
  • Dress in the Clubhouse is at the discretion of the Committee of Management.
Note that discretion will be exercised with first time visitors to the course
Club By Laws
  1. Social Members shall not play in Club Competitions, but may play on the course on payment of the applicable fee at times set by the Committee.
  2. Absentee members shall not play in Club Competitions whilst holding this category of Membership. An Absentee member playing the course does so as a green fee player having paid the applicable fee.
  3. A member may introduce visitors to the privileges of the Club House or course, but the same visitor may not be introduced more than seven times in one year. A visitor playing the course shall pay the applicable green fee.
  4. No member shall abuse, insult or in any way interfere with an employee of the Club whilst such employee is carrying out his or her duties in accordance with the terms of their employment.
  5. A member may invite a guest on guest days. Such guests shall pay the applicable competition fee. On invitation days members must obtain permission of the President or Captain to bring a guest.
  6. Members and visitors shall conform to dress regulations as laid down by the Committee.
  7. Whilst playing on the course, a member shall not throw a club or anyway wilfully inflict damage to any property of the Club. Penalty for a breach of this rule shall be determined by the Committee.
  8. All Players must have slicks or wide wheels on their buggies.
  9. Players with motorised golf vehicles must have permission from the Committee to drive them on the course.
  10. Any Member who is required to resign by the Committee in accordance with the Club Rules shall not be entitled to be introduced into the Clubhouse as a guest and shall not be entitled to the privileges of the Clubhouse at any time.

Member Pricing

Membership fees through to 31 March 2025. Pro-rata fees apply to those joining throughout this period (see below table for latest pro-rata rate).

FULL MEMBERSHIP

Entitles member to full playing rights on every day of the week and also voting rights. Full members can play in club competitions.

Entitles member to full playing rights six days per week from Sunday to Friday. 6 day members may play in competitions held Sunday to Friday.

CADET AGED 22-25

Available to Members aged 22-25 years old. Cadets have full playing rights and voting rights and may play in Club competition. Proof of age is required at the time of joining.

CADET MEMBERSHIP Aged 18-21

Available to members aged 18-21. Full playing rights and voting rights are allowed along with the ability to play in Club competitions. Birth certificate must be sighted at the time of joining.

Available to members under 18 years of age. Birth certificate must be sighted at the time of joining.

HUSBAND/WIFE FULL MEMBERSHIP

Entitles one male & one female full membership, allowing full playing rights seven days a week and voting rights. Members may also play in club competitions. There is a substantial discount off the full membership rate. NOTE: FEES ARE FOR EACH MEMBER.

Entitles anyone over 66.5 years of age to full playing rights on every day of the week and also voting rights. Senior members can play in club competitions. Proof of pension card applies.
